Email Address Management

Many committees and different board offices have email addresses for members to contact them or to submit information. These forwarding addresses are updated after the new committee lists have been created. Some of these forwarding addresses have mail sent to the webmail interface. In this case, you will need to provide that information to the new person receiving those messages so they can access information either using the web interface or via their own email. In some cases, the listmanager will need to ask the new recipient of the address to clean out the archive. In some cases, the listmanager handled the purging. This has all been noted on the NASIGmailboxesandemail.xls spreadsheet under the forwarding tab. The forwarding address can be set up for both. I recommend always maintaining any current webmail interface in case of something happening to that individual. All of the forwarding information and passwords for the treasurer addresses are not shared with ECC. This is the only exception to the password rule.

 

**Make sure that all of the people who receive forwarded email or should check the web interface know that they will be receiving email to this address and have instructions for the web interface. The treasurer already knows this information.**
